Pastry:
170 g butter at room temp
25 g veg shortening
60 g icing sugar
350 all purpose flour
1 medium size egg
Mix flour and sugar. Then rub it with butter and shortening until it form like breadcrumbs. Then add in the egg. Ulikan dough and rest it in the fridge for about 1 hr or more. Canaikan dough dan terapkan dengan acuan bergerigi dan masukkan kedalam acuan tart. Bakar selama 15-20mins. Keluarkan pastry dan sejukkan. You could make the pastry days ahead and keep it in the tupperware yg kedap udara.
Filling:
250 Cream cheese - at room temp
40 g icing sugar
20 g butter
1 medium size egg
Blueberry fruit filling
Beat the cheese together with butter, sugar and egg. Fill in the blueberry filling inside the pastry and pipe in the cream cheese filling on top. You can decorate it if you want.. and bake again for another 10-15 mins. Sejuk kan dalam fridge and its ready !!
With this amount of ingredients you can get approx. 45+ small tartlets. Give a try and you'll be hooked to it..and kids..of course will love it too ;o)
